The injuries Jake Paul suffered in his loss to Anthony Joshua were always going to keep him away from the ring for an extended period of time.

However, the recovery period that he would need before planning his next fight wasn’t the only reason that fans wouldn’t see him back early in 2026.

Logan Paul shared that Jake would be focused on supporting his fiancée, Jutta Leerdam, at the Winter Olympics as she went for gold in speed skating.

The WWE star’s comments about adding an Olympic gold medallist to the family have now come true after Leerdam did just that on February 9th.

Beating out Japan’s Miho Takagi and her fellow Dutch compeтιтor Femke Kok, Leerdam secured the gold by breaking the record that Kok had just set, with cameras capturing both her and Paul’s emotional reactions to the win.

Paul also wrote on X immediately after the win, “Juttttttttttaaaaaaaa. I can’t stop crying. You did it my love. Olympic Gold. God is great and so are you,” before adding in another post, “We just witnessed one of the most important sporting moments ever.”
