PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WLOX) — On Friday, a Pascagoula law firm said it would serve Rev.

Al Sharpton with a 19-page prelitigation defamation demand on behalf of three friends of Nolan Wells.

Nearly three hours later, Rev. Al Sharpton posted his response:

 

Wells, an Ocean Springs teen, was found ᴅᴇᴀᴅ in the water off Horn Island one day after being reported missing.

The teen was visiting the island with friends to celebrate the Fourth of July.

A cause of death for Wells has not been officially released, as the district attorney’s office says the state medical examiner’s autopsy report will be withheld until a grand jury can review it.
